Originally from Nigeria, he earned his bachelor’s degree while living there and later earned his master’s degree in science education at City University of New York’s College of Staten Island and a doctorate in higher education leadership at Nova Southeastern University. Ayo has experience as a New York City public school teacher and college professor, and now uses this experience to serve Job Corps students.

brings over 30 years of security industry experience to his role as a Homeland Security instructor at Brooklyn Job Corps Center. He holds an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in security management and worked in several instructor roles before joining the Job Corps team. Cosmin’s passion is helping young adults succeed in life, which he is able to live out daily as a Job Corps instructor.

, a Brooklyn native, has been a teacher for over 10 years, from elementary schools to universities and now Brooklyn Job Corps Center, where she serves as the Career Transition Readiness instructor. Carol believes her purpose in life is to help others, which she is able to do every day as a teacher, assisting students in finding their future careers.

is a Reading instructor at Brooklyn Job Corps Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Molloy College and a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from Michigan State University. Bruce enjoys his role at Job Corps because of the diversity of students he can work with and the opportunity to help them meet their professional goals.

is a Welding instructor at Wolf Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, with nearly four decades of welding experience under his belt. Trained in welding through an apprenticeship program with the United States Navy, Jeffrey enjoys using his experience to train successful welders.

is Wolf Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center’s Culinary Arts instructor. A graduate of California Culinary Academy, Nicole has managed a variety of restaurants and enjoys sharing the skills she has learned with the next generation of culinary professionals.

has served as the Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons International Association Union Pre-Apprentice Cement Masonry instructor at Wolf Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center for over a decade. He previously served in the U.S. Army as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. He enjoys teaching the next generation of cement masons. 

brings over 30 years of professional experience to his classroom at Wolf Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, including three tours with the United States Naval Construction Battalions and as a commercial carpenter in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He enjoys teaching because it allows him to be able to help train a new generation of carpenters who will continue the tradition of skilled trades in the workforce.

lead Carpentry instructor, previously worked with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters apprenticeship training program before joining the team at Wolf Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. Rich has over a decade of experience as an interior systems specialist, cabinet installer and union carpenter.

Rich can relate to students as a Job Corps graduate. He enjoys working with students, watching them learn the ins and outs of the trade and seeing the excitement they express when they complete the program and move on to UBC apprenticeship.
